This route was defined in 1964.
Total mileage: 10.34 mi. Field reports indicate that this route has been
abandoned by Santa Clara County and is under city jurisdiction. In
November 2013, it was reported that there is still a marker on an exit
sign off SB Route 17 just S of the Route 9 exit.
Acronyms and Explanations:
- "LRN" refers to the Pre-1964 Legislative Route Number.
"US" refers to a US Shield signed route.
"I" refers to an Eisenhower Interstate signed route.
"Route" usually indicates a state shield signed route, but said route may be signed as US or I.
