Entering the Covenant: What are the Halachic requirements regarding buring of the umbilical cord or foreskin?

Halakhah requires burying the umbilical cord and/or foreskin, as well as any other once-living tissue. However, the burial could be as simple as being several inches under the dirt in your backyard. There is no specific ritual.
