February 2002: Cosmic Bowling

On Saturday, February 2, 2002, the tribe joined the rest of the GA-Sioux Nation in Cosmic Bowling. The event was held at Matador Bowl. It started with their turning up the music, turning on the black lights, putting up the bumper guards, and letting 'er rip. Representing Sioux North were Running Rabbit and Little Bunny; Big Buck and Little Deer; Tiny Cloud and White Cloud; Big Thundercloud and Little Lightning; and Broken Wing and Beauty Pony. All the girls bowled extremely well and were very good about taking turns. There were lots of strikes and spares, and as each one was displayed on the screen, the girls all jumped and cheered and congratulated each other.

We are all looking forward to our next tribal meeting and to the upcoming trip to Camp Fox.
