January 2002: Monthly Meeting at Running Rabbit's

On January 25, 2002, the monthly meeting of the Sioux North tribe was held at Running Rabbit and Little Bunny's house. In attendance were Laughing Bear and Shooting Star; Tiny Cloud and White Cloud; Running Rabbit and Little Bunny; Flying Elbow and Bright Star; Big Buck and Little Deer; Big Thundercloud and Little Lightning; and Broken Wing and Beauty Pony. After conducting our opening ceremony, we listened to what all the girls had done to earn their tribal money. We then listened to a story about how the Sioux got fire, from the book Stories of the Sioux. Our tribal leader, Laughing Bear, then told us details about upcoming activities.

We then had a little snack, and went to work on our craft, which was making animal keychains with beads. After working on this for a bit, the girls adjoured to go play with Little Bunny, while some of the dads played a game of dominos.
