"Sioux North" Tribe of the GA-Sioux Nation North Valley YMCA Y-Princesses

On Friday, April 27, 2001, members of the Sioux North (Laughing Bear, Singing River, and Shooting Star; Broken Wing and Beauty Pony) tribe made the trek downtown to see the L.A. Avengers play the Arizona Rattlers in Arena Football. Some drove to the Staples Center; others took Metrolink. Each ended up sitting behind the goal post at opposite ends of the field, surrounded by 14 year old girls screaming! The game was a big disappointment; the Avengers were down 7-35 by the end of the 3rd Quarter. Next event: Our tribal meeting in May and the Nation Picnic!
