"Sioux North" Tribe of the GA-Sioux NationNorth Valley YMCA Y-Princesses |
Scheduling difficulties prevented the tribe from getting together in May, so the May meeting was actually held on Monday, June 5th, 2000 at Red Sky's house. In attendance were Flying Elbow and Bright Star, Crazy Horse and Tiger Lily, Laughing Bear, Singing River and Shooting Star, Running Rabbit and Little Bunny, Red Sky and Red Feather, and Tiny Cloud and White Cloud. The meeting started with the girls happily planning together while the dad's "pow-wow"-ed over plans for the upcoming El Capitan Campout.
We then held our regular meeting, with the girls sharing significant things that happened to them since we last saw them. We then baked and decorated cookies together, and heard a story.
