"Sioux North" Tribe of the GA-Sioux NationNorth Valley YMCA Y-Princesses |
On February 17, 2000, the Sioux tribe held its monthly meeting at the
house of Laughing Bear, Singing River, and Shooting Star.
Most of the tribe was able to attend (Crazy Horse and Tiger Lily;Laughing
Bear, Singing River, and Shooting Star; Red Sky
and Red Feather; Running Rabbit and Little Bunny,
Flying
Elbow and Bright Star, and Tiny Cloud
and
White Cloud.
During this meeting, we planned our presentation for Camp Fox. All
the girls made suggestions of songs, ranging from traditional camp songs
to popular songs from Britney Spears, Cristina Aguilera, and Lou Bega.
We then made our selection as a tribe; we selected, well, you'll just have
to come to Camp Fox to find out! We also made beaded keychains and planned
future activities.
Our next meeting will be at the home of Flying Elbow, just before we go to Camp Fox. We are looking foward to it.
